About Our Foundation
The Ena Pearl Foundation was founded on December 28, 2006, by Kitson Walker. Ena Pearl Martin-Walker was a woman of deep Christian conviction. She immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s with the hope of providing a better life for her family. The drive for her desire to immigrate was in part motivated by the idea that her children could get a better education and quality of life.
This proved elusive for her but was available to her children in the United States. On December 28, 2006, Ena Pearl Martin-Walker succumbed to an aneurysm at the age of 75.
The impetus of the foundation is to create an environment that would increase the quality of education and health available to the students and their families living in rural St. Thomas, Jamaica. The focus will be on the early childhood, primary, secondary, and college/university educational levels. In addition, the foundation works to confront the issues surrounding health as part of the overall strategy for addressing deficiencies that exist in St. Thomas.
The three pillars in which all support will focus on are education, health, and personal development. These three pillars deeply influenced and shaped who Ms. Ena Pearl Martin-Walker was and have become her legacy.

Mr. Walker is the owner of EBS-4U, Inc. a multifaceted Small Business built on the values instilled by the women in his life (Mother, Grandmother. Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and Aunts).
As an immigrant from Jamaica, Mr. Walker has always been focused on maximizing the opportunities presented to him. He was always a trailblazer. First in his family to graduate, he holds a BA degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland and an MBA from Woodbury University, Burbank CA. He also attended the Haas School of Business, “Executive Development Cash Management Program” at the University of California at Berkley.
He taught at the American Bankers Association in Atlanta. Mr. Walker is a Certified Treasury Professional. He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals and National Contract Management Association, Atlanta Chapter.
He is one of a select group of business owners throughout the United States to participate in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses development program; Veterans Institute for Procurement graduate and University of Georgia SBDC GrowSmart program. He has also presented at various small business seminars.
He served in the United States Air Force where he gained valuable skills that contributed to his personal and professional growth. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, he worked in various jobs: Wells Fargo, Migration Project Manager; Washington Mutual Bank Commercial Group, VP Relationship Manager; Bank of America, Treasury Analyst; and Treasury Officer in the Federal Government Banking Group.
Mr. Walker explained that we all have a purpose and that purpose compels us to contribute to the betterment of the world we leave for others. He gives of himself to the community by lending his financial support, expertise, and speaking at various schools such as Brown Elementary School in the city of Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity, and as a Mary Parker Foundation volunteer.
